Hi, I’m Brian.
I’ve been working in architecture for over 20 years. I’ve worked for two architectural firms in the Ottawa area designing, detailing and managing projects of all kinds, sizes and shapes.
Some of those included a straw bale home, many custom homes and renovations, a cross laminated timber custom home, apartment buildings, churches, laboratories, heritage buildings and part of the parliamentary precinct.
But through my career, I fell in love with residential design.
I believe in working with our clients to find the best solution for their home and guiding them through the whole process from design through construction.

While we do offer build services, the majority of our work is centered on architectural consulting and design.
This allows us to remain closely involved with our clients from start to finish, acting as both designer and trusted consultant to ensure every detail of the project is thoughtfully executed and true to the original design intent.

Byrd Project
Addition and renovation.
This home needed a new kitchen. Our clients wanted a kitchen that was bigger, but also more open to the rest of the main floor space.
The design relocated the dining room into the addition which allowed the kitchen to take over the old dining room and add much needed space.
The kitchen is now the central hub of the main floor with direct access from all other rooms on the main floor and second floor.
