Hi, I’m Brian.
I’ve been working in architecture for over 24 years. I’ve worked for two architectural firms in the Ottawa area designing, detailing and managing projects of all kinds, sizes and shapes.
Some of those included a straw bale home, many custom homes and renovations, a cross laminated timber custom home, apartment buildings, churches, laboratories, heritage buildings and part of the parliamentary precinct.
But through my career, I fell in love with residential design.
We switched to a design and build company a few years ago because we felt our clients would value guidance through the entire project, not just the design. As a small company I can only take on a few clients at a time, but I also want people to access good advice for their projects. If you are looking for advice, book a consult to see how we can help.

Byrd Project
Addition and renovation.
This home needed a new kitchen. Our clients wanted a kitchen that was bigger, but also more open to the rest of the main floor space.
The design relocated the dining room into the addition which allowed the kitchen to take over the old dining room and add much needed space.
The kitchen is now the central hub of the main floor with direct access from all other rooms on the main floor and second floor.
